Tabletop Role Playing Games (TTRPG)

Exploration & Incorporation of interests has always been a big part of therapy often coming out in discussion around sports, music, or movies. Why should gaming be any different?

Learning to become a therapeutic Game Master (GM) and leaning into my inner nerd inspired me to take therapeutic gaming to the next level in my practice. This will focus on having fun while building into each individuals strengths & needs for therapeutic skills. Gaming will assist with engagement, strengthening relationships and allowing a natural space to engage with peers in group dynamics.

This allows for the ability to build community and support entertainment for individuals in rural areas while also learning to implement social skills, set boundaries, learn self-advocacy skills, coping with fears from anxiety or failure. These skills and more can all be incorporated using your imagination to understand different worldviews or cultures.

Tabletop Role Playing Games vary significantly and language can often be interchangeably used with Dungeon and Dragons (D&D) and Dungeon Master (DM). A few games that I am interested in hosting include

  • Kids on Bikes

  • Kids on Brooms

  • Ember Wind

All group services will be private pay, and the frequency will be dependent on the group being offered. Details about upcoming groups will be listed here as available.

Group Services will not be billed to insurance at this time.

Scholarships or Adjusted Fees will be accepted for clients in need, don’t hesitate to reach out if you are interested to join these groups but have financial limitations.

Meet Yarrow

Wood Elf Ranger

Yarrow is a skilled hunter and tracker who shares a unique bond with birds and communicates through subtle woodland signals. This was my first D&D character I ever created while training to become a Therapeutic Dungeon Master.

My passion for tabletop gaming grew out of a lifelong love for fantasy books, games, and movies. Though I stepped straight into DM training without prior playing experience. I leapt at the chance to channel that imagination into purpose. This allowed a focus of bringing people together through adaptive, collaborative storytelling where every group creates a world entirely of their own.

Cost of Service

Varys according to activities planned and length of group established. Please feel free to reach out for more information, or interest to join.
